Expert Helical Pile Installation for Any Project Size
Whether you are securing a new residential foundation, repairing an existing structure, or supporting heavy commercial infrastructure, a solid foundation is non-negotiable. Our skilled technicians bring precision and heavy-duty capability to every job site, ensuring your project is anchored securely from the ground up.
Equipped to handle high-demand projects, we offer installations with torque ratings up to 25,000 ft-lbs, guaranteeing that your piles meet or exceed the exact load-bearing requirements of your structural engineers.
How the Installation Process Works
One of the greatest advantages of helical piles is the speed and efficiency of the installation. Here is what you can expect when our crew arrives on site:
Site Preparation & Layout: We begin by mapping out the precise pile locations according to your engineered plans. Because our equipment is highly maneuverable, we require minimal site preparation and can often work in tight spaces.
Initial Advancement: The lead section of the helical pile—featuring the helical bearing plates—is rotated into the ground using specialized hydraulic torque motors attached to our machinery.
Adding Extensions: As the pile is driven deeper, plain extensions are bolted on until the pile reaches the target depth and competent load-bearing soil.
Torque Monitoring & Verification: Throughout the installation, we continuously monitor the installation torque. There is a direct correlation between torque and capacity, meaning we can verify the exact load-bearing strength of every single pile in real-time.
Termination and Connection: Once the required depth and torque are achieved, the pile is cut to the proper elevation. A specialized bracket or termination cap is then installed to transfer the load of your structure directly to the pile.
The Advantages of Our Installation Method
Immediate Load Bearing: Unlike concrete foundations that require days to cure, helical piles can be loaded immediately after installation.
No Spoils or Vibration: The installation process does not displace soil to the surface, meaning there is no messy cleanup or haul-away required. It is also completely vibration-free, protecting adjacent structures.
All-Weather Installation: Rain, snow, or freezing temperatures won't delay your foundation work. Helical piles can be installed effectively in virtually any weather condition.
The Right Equipment for Your Soil Conditions
We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your specific soil profile and load requirements, our technicians will install the optimal system for your project.
Type SS (Square Shaft) Series (1-1/4″ to 2-1/4″): Characterized by high yield strength, these solid square shafts are exceptionally effective at punching through dense, hard soils and cobble.
Type RS (Round Shaft) Series (2-7/8″ to 4-1/2″ diameter): These hollow tubular shafts offer superior resistance to bending and buckling. They are the ideal choice for softer soils, areas with a high water table, or structures that require significant lateral stability.
